About the Role

As an Independent Travel Advisor, you will help clients plan unforgettable travel experiences while building your own book of business. You'll work directly with travelers to research, plan, book, and manage vacations, cruises, tours, destination weddings, group travel, and other travel experiences.

This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. While many advisors work from home, you may choose to maintain an office space if desired.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, plan, and book travel reservations for clients

  • Coordinate flights, hotels, cruises, tours, transportation, and travel packages

  • Manage travel itineraries and reservations from inquiry through completion

  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the travel planning process

  • Maintain organized, professional, and timely communication with clients

  • Build strong client relationships that generate repeat and referral business

  • Promote and recommend travel products, destinations, and supplier offerings

  • Stay informed on travel trends, destinations, suppliers, and industry updates

  • Complete training and certification programs offered through preferred travel partners

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others, eager to learn, and motivated to build a successful travel business.

Required Skills & Qualities

  • Strong customer service and client relationship management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email communication

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Professional, personable, and committed to providing exceptional client experiences

  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial mindset

  • Comfortable learning new technology, booking systems, and industry tools

  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training, certification programs, and professional development

  • Must be at least 16 years of age

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Experience with reservations, travel arrangements, or car rental coordination

  • Previous sales experience with the ability to promote and recommend travel products and services

  • Familiarity with travel management software, booking platforms, CRM systems, or reservation tools

  • Previous experience in the travel industry, hospitality, tourism, customer service, or a related field

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional travel and tourism certifications are a plus

Compensation

This is a commission-based independent contractor position.

There is no cap on earnings. Your income is directly tied to your effort, sales performance, client relationships, and business growth. Advisors have the flexibility to determine their level of involvement and earning potential.
